Today I learned that -- out of all K-12 students in New York state --black girls in elementary school are those most likely to be suspended. I also learned that students of color are far more likely to be suspended. Also, 6 year olds are being suspended for crying, and kids were being locked out of "Zoom school" during pandemic lockdown for things like showing up in pajamas.
